Thunder leadership program

As apart of our Boys to Men initiative the Thunder Leadership team delivered a 4 week program that gave our boys hands-on experience relating to real-life situations.

Sydney Thunder is committed to developing the next generation of young leaders across the Thunder Nation.

Delivered to students at secondary schools across the Thunder Nation, the Thunder Leadership Program features a combination of cricket sessions and theory workshops focusing on team work, leadership, decision making and problem solving.

The program aims to inspire young leaders and help them develop a sense of self-confidence and community connection. 

The Thunder Leadership Program involves videos from Sydney Thunder stars including Usman Khawaja and Alex Blackwell and focuses on areas such as goal setting, dreams, bullying and managing expectations.

Selected students from the program are invited to participate in extra-curricular, real-life leadership opportunities such as delivering cricket sessions to local primary schools and meeting with Sydney Thunder administration.
