On Friday, the 17th of May, the Waratah Centre were lucky enough to go and visit Taronga Zoo. Interestingly only one, out of five students that we took along that day had ever been to a Zoo before and it certainly showed in their faces when seeing some of the animal.
Some of the boys were enthralled with the reptile section of the Zoo, while others were fortunate enough to get a glimpse of the seal show.
“It was my first time at Taronga and really enjoyed the seal show. I was really interested to know that seals from various parts of the world were so different and that they loved to play with seaweed (Khan Roberts).”
Truly a great experience for our students and we thank Taronga for having us out there.
